Mike Bouwhuis was born and raised in Utah, having graduated from Roy High School,
then Weber State College with a degree in Psychology. He also attended the
University of Tsukuba in Japan.  Mike obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Brigham
Young University in 1993, and was admitted to the Utah State Bar, the United States
District Court for the District of Utah, and the Utah Supreme Court that same year.

Mike serves on the Advertising Committee and the Fee Arbitration Committee of the
Utah State Bar. He is also a member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense
Lawyers, as well as the Weber County Bar Association.

Mike is married and has two children.
